Edgerrin James retires

Former Colts all-pro running back Edgerrin James has announced his retirement from the NFL after 11 seasons.


Career Notes:

4-time pro-bowler.

2-time NFL leading rusher.

Played 11 seasons with the Colts, Cardinals and Seahawks.

Participated in 13 NFL playoff games racking up over 1100 total yards.

Member of the 2008 NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals.

Recorded 15,610 yards from scrimmage (13th in league history).

Scored 91 career touchdowns.
