Ozzie Guillen Traded To Marlins

The Ozzie Guillen era is officially over in the South Side of Chicago. After gathering his White Sox team in the clubhouse Monday night, he told them tonight would be his final game managing them. Guillen met with team Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf Monday afternoon to discuss his contract situation that was to expire after 2012, but nothing came of the meeting. It was announced later that night that he was traded to the Marlins for two minor league players. He managed eight seasons, winning 677 games and a World Series title  in 2005.

Began managing in 2004.

Won the World Series in only his second season.

This summed up his thoughts on the 2011 season.

Guillen was never shy with his emotions towards players or umpires.

Ozzie will be donning these colors next year.
