The Red Sox have a new face leading their front office. Ben Cherington was named the new General Manager in Boston Tuesday afternoon. Cherington has held various positions in the organization for 14 years. He is 37 years old and a New England native from Meriden, New Hampshire. Ben will have his plate full of responsibilities before the season starts, finding a manager and either re-signing some key players or going out and upgrading his team with a few free agents.
