New Orleans will never trade Chris Paul….ever.

Another Chris Paul trade has fallen through according to ESPN as the Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers couldn’t reach a deal. The  Hornets wanted Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farqou Aminu, Eric Bledsoe, and an unprotected 1st round pick. The Clippers, rightfully, said no.  This is the second time in a week a Chris Paul trade has either been vetoed or taken off the table.  The Lakers, Hornets and Rockets agreed on a deal that would have sent Lamar Odom, Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Goran Dragic and first round pick to the Hornets, Pau Gasol to the Rockets and Paul to the Lakers.  That trade got vetoed by the NBA because several owners complained about competitive balance.  (They didn’t take in to account that the deal was actually bad for the Lakers, but that’s just my opinion.)  As of now, Chris Paul is a Hornet, but who knows how this going to play out….

Chris Paul just wants to go somewhere….not New Orleans though.
