Bird Executive of the Year

Larry Bird has completed the basketball trifecta. Bird was named the 2012 NBA Executive of the Year Wednesday. He is the first guy in NBA history to win the MVP, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year. Indiana was 42-24 and the third seed in the Eastern Conference under Bird’s watch.

Bird won MVP’s in 83, 84 and 85.

He won Coach of the Year in 1997.

Bird has done a tremendous job in building the Pacers into a contender.

Bird is the first to complete the NBA trifecta.

  1. I don’t care for Larry Bird, but he has had a lot of success in Indiana.
