The Los Angeles Kings defeated the New Jersey Devils by a score of 6-1 in game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The victory clinched the franchises first Cup Championship in the organization’s history. The Kings won the series 4-2 as Jonathan Quick was named the winner of the Conn Smythe trophy. Michael Bedard called the series as it played out in his Cup Final Preview.
