One of the NFL’s all time running backs has decided to call it a career. LaDainian Tomlinson will sign a one day contract with the Chargers Monday to end his career where it began. After being the 5th overall pick of the 2001 draft, he went on to play 11 seasons with the Chargers and the Jets. Tomlinson compiled 13,684 rushing yards, which is good for the 5th on the rushing list and had 145 rushing touchdowns, which is second all time. He was a 5-time Pro Bowler, 3-time All-Pro and the 2006 NFL MVP. Tomlinson was a big reason for the resurgence of the Chargers organization and will be a sure first ballot Hall of Famer.
