Calhoun Retires

Calhoun has called it a career after 26 seasons at UConn.

After missing games the last few seasons due to health issues, Jim Calhoun has officially called it a career. Calhoun coached 26 seasons at Connecticut winning 625 games, making 4 Final Fours and 3 National Titles.

He became a member of the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2005. Calhoun has also been named Big East Coach of the Year four times and has led 26 players to the NBA. Kevin Ollie will be Calhoun’s replacement for the Huskies in the 2012-13 season.

He won 3 National Championships for the Huskies.

Kevin Ollie will be taking over for Calhoun, he will have big shoes to fill in Storrs.
