The NBA award season has arrived and two sets of hardware have been handed out. J.R. Smith was named Sixth Man of the Year on Monday and Paul George was named Most Improved Player on Tuesday. Smith averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists a game in 33 minutes and was a spark off the Knicks bench all year. George averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and filled the void of Danny Granger superbly. Both players teams won their divisions and most likely will battle for the right to go to the Eastern Conference Championship series.
