Howard To The Rockets

Howard will join the Rockets for 4 years and 88 million.

After many teams made their pitches and he mulled his options, Dwight Howard has decided to head to the lone star state. Howard will sign with the Houston Rockets for 4 years and 88 million which includes an opt out clause before the 2015 season. He averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds last season for the Lakers. Howard was down to three teams, the Mavericks, Lakers and Rockets and after meeting with Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak he informed them he would not return.

Howard’s relationship with Head Coach Mike D’Antoni and Kobe Bryant were the main reasons he did not return to the Lakers.

Howard will be joined by budding superstar James Harden in Houston.
