Carter-Williams Wins Rookie of the Year

Carter-Williams was the NBA’s top rookie for 2013-14.

Michael Carter-Williams was a bright spot in a very bleak Sixers season. MCW averaged 17 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds a game in his rookie season in the NBA. He is the third player in history to lead rookies in scoring, assists and rebounds. Carter-Williams received all but 20 of the first place votes to beat out Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic. He is the second Sixer to win the award and first since Allen Iverson.

MCW is the first Sixer to win Rookie of the Year since Allen Iverson.
