What has been a hellish week for Joe Paterno continues with his termination as Head Coach Wednesday night. After testifying in the grand jury that he reported the 2002 incident to former Athletic Director Tim Curley, rumors circulate that Paterno may have known more. He stated that he will always regret not doing more to stop these heinous actions, and will continue to help the university in whatever manner he can. Paterno took the Penn State Head Coaching job in 1966 after being an assistant for 15 years. He has led the Nittany Lions to 409 wins and 2 national titles in 1982 and 1986. He also holds the record for most division one and bowl game wins. Joe is one of three active coaches to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. It is a shame to see such an amazing legacy end in such a horrific manner, but if Paterno did more he could have went out on his own terms.
