Joe Johnson Traded To Nets

In a move that will hopefully help have Deron Williams return, the Nets added Joe Johnson. Johnson was acquired from Atlanta for Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro, Anthony Morrow, Jordan Williams, DeShawn Stevenson and a future 1st round pick. He averaged 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists this past season for the Hawks. New Jersey is coming off another tough season going 22-44, but could return a very impressive starting five with Brook Lopez, Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson and potentially Deron Williams. Atlanta was 40-26 but lost in the first round to the Celtics in 6 games. Johnson is a 6-time all-star, making it every year in Atlanta.

Johnson averaged 19 points a game last season in Atlanta.
